Kodiak Marine Wildlife
A large part of what makes Kodiak Island unique is the large populations of marine mammals such as seals, sea lions and otter. Zachar Bay has a seal estuary right within its boundaries, and an occasional sea lion will swim through the bay in search of salmon.
