The Iley (26' boat) has a new engine! It will be powered by a brand new Honda 225 Four Stroke engine, which is a large advantage over the two stroke motor in both fuel economy and motor noise.

New website design and added additional pages, including the ability to purchase Zachar Bay Lodge merchandise online.

The new Bush Hawk 818ES made its way back to Kodiak and started operations with its sister ship N777ZB. Look for many new photos of the aircraft throughout the website in the near future! The new features of 8ES are high visibility doors/windows, individual rear seats, fowler flaps and that new aircraft smell!

Zachar Bay Lodge is now able accept payments and book your trip on this website! We have added a calendar (which will be updated daily) that shows our availability, and which can link you to a secure server where you can pick dates and place a deposit using your credit card.

For those of you who are curious about the status of the New Bush Hawk, it is almost finished being painted in Canada, and Glen & Kyle are flying back to take delivery of it on May 17!

Zachar Bay Lodge is offering a NEW fall hunting and fishing combination package. Please ask us about the Blacktail Deer & Steelhead Package starting September 18 - October 30, 2004. The 7 day/7 night trip includes 3 fly-outs and guided fishing for $4215 per person. Arrive on a Saturday and depart the following Saturday. Maximum 6 people, minimum 2 people.

We are purchasing a second Found Bush Hawk floatplane for Zachar Bay Lodge and Kingfisher Aviation to operate in Kodiak starting in June of 2004. The delivery date is scheduled for April of 2004, and we will post some pictures when we get the new plane!
